Service Description

Caregiver & Child Class- All Ages (South Tampa) (Babies, toddlers, & preschoolers - Birth through 4 years-old) Location: Hyde Park Presbyterian Church (front lawn) This booking is for a four-week session. Classes will be held once per week on Monday mornings. ‘I CAN DO IT!’ session: Your child will have the opportunity to participate in sensory play activities with a group of similarly aged children. Our newest 4-week session of classes will focus on task-related activities that your child can explore with both independently and with your assistance. Each week we will tackle a different area related to life skills- from “Learning in the Kitchen” to “Getting Ready for the Day” to “Nutrition & Exercise” and more! There will be plenty of fun-filled learning experiences that get your child using critical thinking skills and foster their growth & development in engaging and interactive ways. Updates about class themes and activities will be added to the "Curriculum" tab of the website once available. Wonder Play & Learn classes offer young learners the chance to be exposed to a variety of hands-on and sensory play activities that promote developmentally appropriate aspects and encourage a love of learning. Classes will include open-ended sensory play activities, science experiments and of course music & movement! There will be opportunities to interact with other children and their caregivers. Classes are meant to create a time for building the relationship between caregiver and child therefore the caregiver must remain with the child for the duration of the class. **Please note: This class time will be geared toward children birth through 4-years-old.
